Haley Gaia is a luminary in the realms of sound, meditation, and ceremony…
I’m Haley Gaia—a Sound Healer, Meditation Guide, and Ceremony Facilitator devoted to helping people reconnect to themselves through sound, breath, movement, and ritual.
My work bridges traditional Yoga philosophy with a focus on Nada Yoga (the Yoga of Sound), nervous system regulation, ceremonial healing, and earth-based spiritual practices to create deeply transformative experiences for the mind, body, and spirit. Through private sessions, mentorship, retreats, and immersive group ceremonies, I help people return to peace, trust, and beauty.
Over the past several years, I have taught internationally and across Canada, leading retreats in destinations such as Spain and Mexico, facilitating ceremonies for luxury brands including Alo Yoga, The Four Seasons Hotel, and Guerlain Paris, and working with everyone from private clients to Neuroscience Master’s students. My classes, trainings, and events are known for their depth, emotional resonance, and ability to create real inner shift.
Spirituality has been part of my life since I was a little girl.
I grew up in downtown Toronto with a mother who was an energy healer, hosting her private practice out of our family home. Sound Healing instruments were scattered throughout the house, including a cherished set of White Quartz crystal singing bowls that I was endlessly drawn to. My spiritual education began early—through women’s circles, hypnosis sessions, yoga classes, and witnessing firsthand the profound ways healing could move through sound, intention, and presence.
At 19, I followed an instinct to travel to Central America, where I spent three months living in the jungle and learning about—and eventually teaching— Hatha Yoga at a remote eco-lodge deep in the mountains. What began as an adventure became a turning point. Removed from the noise of city life, I fell in love all over again with the magic and devotion of spiritual practice.
When I returned to Canada, I poured myself fully into teaching. My classes filled quickly, my events were consistently waitlisted, and I accumulated thousands of hours of in-person facilitation experience.
But eventually, I reached a breaking point.
After years of overgiving, I experienced deep burnout—daily panic attacks, severe anxiety, and depression that left me disconnected from myself and the very practices I taught. During that time, my mother brought me to a private sound bath, and it changed everything. Despite years of meditation, it was the first time I experienced true mental stillness. I knew immediately that Sound Healing was not just part of my path—it was part of my purpose.
I began with the same instruments I had grown up with: three crystal bowls, a handmade drum, and a Sansula. As I started sharing Sound Healing professionally, the response was immediate. People were deeply moved, and I could feel something shifting—not only in my students, but in myself. This work was different. It was medicine.
Today, those original three bowls have grown into a collection of over 40 instruments, including Crystal Tones Alchemy Bowls, Himalayan Singing Bowls, Gong, drums, chimes, and other rare sound healing instruments. But beyond the growth of the practice, what matters most to me is the transformation I witness in others.
I have supported people through grief, burnout, heartbreak, chemotherapy, major life transitions, and profound spiritual awakenings. I have watched students leave careers that no longer served them, return to their art, reclaim their voice, and step into deeper alignment with who they truly are.
At the heart of everything I offer is one belief: there is immense beauty, love, and wisdom already living within us.
My work is simply to help people remember.
